MEASURE
the music contained between two bar lines; bar.

"A measure (or bar) in music is a segment of time, a rhythmic unit divided by vertical lines, holding a specific number of beats to organize music into manageable, repeating chunks, making it easier to read, perform, and stay in sync."

Our Philosophy
Music is considered a universal language across cultures as a point of connection - to evoke emotions, tell stories and bring people together in good times and bad.

Therapy is a lot like a MEASURE of music.
Music is not one size fits all.
Similarly, when choosing a psychologist it is important that you find someone that you connect with, but also someone who has experience and training to support you with your goals.
A MEASURE of music organizes and divides music into predictable sections.
We help break down therapy into smaller components so you can figure out where to begin, and how to map out the journey thereafter.
The time signature determines the number of beats per bar.
Each session we meet you where you are at to support your goals. Sometimes that means we need to slow down to process our past experiences, and others we need to learn new skills to cope with where we are at.
The rhythm of music is the first beat that starts a new rhythmic pattern.
We strive to not only meet you where you are at but honour that every person brings their own perspective, culture, and lived experiences into therapy.
Each bar of music marks the beginning and end.
Whether it is a brief period of time or a longer journey you are on, our strength based approach supports you with whatever chapter of life you are in.

Whether you are looking to gain more insight into yourself through psychological assessments or starting your therapeutic journey, MEASURE psychology can help when life gets too noisy.
